Kärmes – One of a kind BJD

Majestic Kärmes allows wonderfully versatile posability due to her very long body. She poses like a goddess. The design allows limitless customization possibilities and yet it remains eye-catching and beautiful with no customizations too.

We provide customization, coloring, and restringing instructions here on the site. You can find them here. You can use Salvador’s restringing instructions as a guide but there are no model-specific instructions, as this is a one-of-a-kind doll. We are more than happy to help if you have any questions!

Mailing time

The doll will be mailed to you within a week of your order.

Made for customizing

• We send a couple of excess pieces with every BJD, so you can test your customization techniques on the material
• We also include extra elastics and assembling wires
• You can disassemble and re-assemble it
• Doll can resist continuously 120°C and for a short period of time 180°C (not the elastic strings!). This allows you to use your favorite customization methods in high temperatures, such as curing clay in the oven and boil dyes.
• You can sand and paint it

Materials

Our goal is to provide you with high-quality products and high-quality materials. We inspect and assemble every doll by hand. We make our dolls out of Nylon (polyamide) and they’re held together by elastic bands.

Nylon

• Highly durable material. The doll should not break in normal use
• The surface is matte and white. We have sanded it to minimize the typical texture of 3D prints
• Exposure to direct sunlight for long periods of time may alter the color of the doll

Elastic bands
Elastic bands allow changing the doll’s position as desired. Bands’ tightness affects the posability of the doll.

NOTICE: Elastic strings may lose their pulling force over time. You might need to replace the strings with new ones. Assembling instructions for Salvador are here (You can use Salvador’s restringing instructions as a guide but there are no model-specific instructions for Kärmes, as this is a one-of-a-kind doll).
